UW WINKELWAGEN IS LEEG
Last week the bike tour Gran Fondo Rosa was on the program. A tour to honor Italian cycling and thus for Flash Italia Cycling an event that should not be missed. Because of all the Corona perils now organized in a very safe and good way. These cycling tours are an important part of testing Flash Italian Cycling clothing on the elements of quality and wearing comfort.
Together with 6 other cycling enthusiasts we were at the start at 9:15 AM for a beautiful trip at the Veluwe (Netherlands) from the city of Arnhem to Nijmegen and back. Along the way, several hills were on the program to conquer, such as the Posbank.
Our entire group was dressed in the colorful and unique Italia Spaghetti cycling outfit. The weather conditions at the start were cold and chilly. That did not stop us from heading towards the city of Nijmegen. On the way several rivers had to be passed in this wetland area. Several tough steep climbs had to be done in Nijmegen. In the meantime, the temperature had fortunately become a bit more pleasant, partly due to the efforts to be made.
Then on the way to the Posbank, which towers high above the overgrown hills of the Veluwe. The group reached the top with a high heart rate. In the meantime dark rain clouds had collected above our heads and the last part of the trip had to be driven in the rain. To conclude, the ascent of the "Italian Road" (Italiaanse weg) was waiting for us for dessert. A beautiful winding climb between the trees and on cobblestones.
Satisfied we arrived at the finish and we could look back on 113 beautiful kilometers in one of the most beautiful regions in the Netherlands.
